Bible Point: Jesus is the Better David

-How did God use David? 

-How is Jesus better than David?

Parents, can you imagine being given the title of “Man after God’s own heart”? David was a hot mess; his sins were many- adultery, lying, and murder to name a few. Yet, he came before the throne of God with a sincere, contrite heart and sought the forgiveness of the righteous God whom he sinned against. But even the Man after God’s own heart was incapable of being a redeemer. Jesus is better than David because Jesus lived a life without sin and delivers his people from the greatest enemy, Satan.
